Downtown – Boardwalk to 27th Street – is the heart of Ocean City. Downtown pops with excitement and energy. Grab a bench on the Boards and watch the crowds go by. Trimper rides and the Jolly Roger amusement pier offer entertainment for all ages, from young to thrill seekers. Take a ride on the Boardwalk tram and watch the excitement of downtown at a leisurely speed. Rent a bike or trolley and enjoy an early morning Boardwalk ride.

Go fishing off the pier or the RT 50 Drawbridge. Enjoy bayside bars offering breathtaking sunsets, live music and outrageous nightlife. Watch the beautiful sunsets while enjoying a relaxing carriage ride along the bay.

The Boardwalk offers world-famous Thrasher’s French Fries, fresh squeezed lemonade, fresh funnel cakes and soft serve ice cream. View the unbelievable at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! After sampling Dumser’s Ice Cream and Kohr’s Frozen Custard, be sure to weigh in on who your favorite locals and tourists alike have debated for years. Which one will you choose?

Family Beach Olympics

  • Fun family activities Tuesdays from June 26 to August 14 at 27th Street Beach from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

OC Museum Summer Programs

  • Fun facts free for the entire family. July 2 to August 25 at 10am (lasts approximately 30 minutes)

*No program on Wednesday, July 4.

Sunset Park Party Nights

  • Enjoy free concerts Thursdays from July 5 to August 30, 7-9 pm.

Beach Fireworks

Fireworks every Monday and Tuesday, 10:30pm, from July 9-August 28.
