Ocean Pines community is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ocean City. The area boasts parks for every interest. You can relax and enjoy the serenity or take the kiddos to play. The walking trails wind through beautiful woods and impressive neighborhoods.
Located in North Ocean Pines off Capetown Road. Follow signs from Ocean Parkway.
This popular park features a freshwater fishing lake and nature trail, a large open area with playground equipment, a half basketball court, an adult swing, and picnic tables. The park also features a mountain bike trail and fitness trail that wraps around the lake. Adopted by the Eastern Shore International Mountain Biking Association.
Located in South Ocean Pines. Turn on Granby Lane off of Ocean Parkway and look for the park entrance off of Bridgewater Road.
This small neighborhood park features playground equipment and a grassy area with bench seating. Adopted by the Democratic Women’s Club.
Located off of Manklin Meadows Road near the Manklin Meadows Racquet Sports Complex.
The Ocean Pines Dog Park provides opportunities for neighbors to socialize and for pets to run and play together in a safe, fenced-in environment with separate areas for large and small dogs. The park features benches, water taps, and waste disposal bags and receptacles. The park is located across from the Manklin Meadows Racquet Sports Complex, the softball field, and the Manklin Meadows playground.
Applicants will be required to follow Ocean Pines Dog Park rules and sign the “Acceptance of Risk and Release of Liability Waiver Form.” After registration, dog owners will receive a dog tag and a key card that will allow entry via the park’s electronic gate during the scheduled hours of operation. Passes are non-transferable and are valid from May 1–April 30 the following year.

This park, which is situated near the Manklin Meadows Racquet Sports Complex, contains a playground (newly built in 2017), gazebo, ball field, and picnic tables. There is also a half basketball court, dog park, and a community garden in this area. This park is approximately 21 acres. Adopted by Ocean Pines Platform Tennis.
Located canal-side along Ocean Parkway near Pintail Drive in the middle of Ocean Pines.
This beautifully landscaped 11-acre park features picnic tables, a covered gazebo, crabbing pier, and a hiking trail. This park is adopted by the Ocean City Power Squadron.
Located in the Sherwood Forest section of South Ocean Pines. Turn on Robin Hood Drive from Ocean Parkway and follow the signs to the park.
Tucked away in Sherwood Forest, this park has a half basketball court, playground equipment, and benches. The Sherwood Forest Trail runs through the park, beginning at Footbridge Trail and ending at Knight Terrace. The park is approximately 3.2 acres.
Open 8 a.m. to dusk to registered community members and registered guests. The Ocean Pines Skate Park is located behind the Ocean Pines Police Department and Administration Building, in White Horse Park.
Designed by Artisan Skate Parks, this fun, recreational outlet features a quarter pipe, fun box with grind ledge, snake run and more. The Ocean Pines Skate Park opened on June 13, 2009, after over two years of planning and design.
The skate park is open to all registered community members and registered guests. All skaters must register at the Recreation and Parks office, receive a sticker, and put it on the helmet being worn in the park. Helmets are required.

This 4.4-acre park contains soccer fields, bleachers, preschool playground, and a picnic area.
The park is located on 10 Seabreeze Road in Ocean Pines, adjacent to the Swim & Racquet Club.
With beautiful views of the St. Martin River, this park offers a picnic gazebo, a half basketball court and tennis courts. A small beach area is ideal for canoe or kayak launching. It is adjacent to the Swim & Racquet Club Pool. Sponsored by the Environment and Natural Assets Advisory Committee.
Located in the Terns Landing section of Ocean Pines on Alton Point off of Ocean Parkway.
This charming neighborhood park in Terns Landing features picnic tables, benches, and spectacular waterfront views. Adopted by the Friends of Terns Landing.
White Horse Park is located on 235 Ocean Parkway, next to the Ocean Pines Community Center and Administration Building.
White Horse Park is the largest and most developed park in Ocean Pines, and contains a Memorial Pavilion, playground area (newly built in 2019), lighted basketball court, lighted skate park, two shuffleboard courts, fitness and walking trails, boat ramp, and picnic tables. It is also home to the Ocean Pines Farmers Market, which is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. year-round. In addition, the Pine’eer Craft Shop, Community Center, Fire Department, Recreation and Parks Department, Police Department and the Ocean Pines Association’s Administration Building are located on the site.

In the spring of 2003, the Ocean Pines 35th Anniversary Celebration included a “Salute to the Military”. The emotional response of the veterans who were being recognized convinced members of the event committee to earmark a portion of the event profits to create an enduring way to honor the men and women who have served our country.
The original plan was to erect a single lighted flagpole to display the American flag. However, during early meetings of the memorial committee, the idea of a veterans memorial began to emerge. By the Spring of 2004, the committee had chosen a location and decided on a tentative design. The Ocean Pines Association Board of Directors generously agreed to donate the land, and the final design was approved in August 2004.
The Memorial is in the form of a circle with 5 curved brick walls that display the names of the five armed services. Within the circle is a 5-pointed star featuring the flags of each of the services at the points. The flag of the United States is located at the center. The base of the Memorial is paved with bricks and pavers that are inscribed with the names of veterans being honored – from the Revolutionary War to the present.
Members, donors, volunteers, and visitors help make the Worcester County Veterans Memorial at Ocean Pines a beautiful and welcoming place to honor and reflect on the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
