Ocean Pines, located only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ocean City, invokes a feeling of community and home. Whether one is vacationing at their second home, returning from wintering in Florida, or a year-round resident, the community embraces each and every person.
The feeling of community is fostered through an active club presence to cater to every person’s interests, sponsored trips overseas or across the bridge, and holiday events among many other fun activities. Whether you are young or young at heart, Ocean Pines is a hidden gem close to the beach. The sense of community is one of many reasons why Ocean Pines continues to be named a top place to retire by Forbes Magazine.
The Recreation and Parks Department offers an array of year-round recreational and leisure activities for all ages and interests. In order to fulfill its mission, the department offers a broad range of classes and community-wide activities.
