Thanksgiving in Ocean City

Thanksgiving is a beautiful time of year in Ocean City. The official season has ended, and the second season has kicked into high gear. Our beach town has slowed down and twinkles with Christmas lights and cheer. Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays, filled with giving thanks, spending time with loved ones, and feasting. There are several options for your Thanksgiving Day feast. For those of you going out to eat, there are plenty of local options, ranging from buffet-style to sit-down dinner.

Post Thanksgiving Festivities

After satiating yourself on all the scrumptious yummies, you must check out Winterfest of Lights. Winterfest starts Thursday before Thanksgiving and is open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the New Year. Take the festive tram ride through Northside Park, enjoying the Christmas lights, and visit Santa.

The day after Thanksgiving is the annual Holiday Shopper’s Fair at the Convention Center. For the entire weekend, you can peruse aisles of unique and handmade merchandise, and get all your Christmas shopping out of the way before December even arrives. Weekend admission is $3.
